TW is aiming for official 'transition status' - it would mean being given a wiki site hosted by the Transition Network, as well as other benefits such as big names from the movement being prepared to come and give talks here. One of the criteria is that we as a group are well aware of the '12 steps to transition', which might sound a bit prescriptive but probably are common sense guidance based on the trials and errors of other, more established transition towns.
